MERU Y.M.C.A is a charitable, non-profit making organization founded in 1958. It works to improve the quality of life of YMCA members as well as that of rural neighbouring communities. It is a branch of the Kenya YMCA with a strong membership from MERU town and the neighboring community. MERU Y.M.C.A has over 20yrs experience in youth and community development.. Our programmes are designed to meet credibility of serving or rightly addressing community priorities arising from their learnt constraints and problems. Given the diversity of community needs, MERU Y.M.C.A branch offers variety of programmes and activities. Currently MERU Y.M.C.A branch has programmes and activities in the following areas. Vocational training centre offering accounts related courses ranging from CAMS ( Certificate In Accounting and Management Skills) ATD (Accounting Technicians Diploma), CIFA ( Certified Investment and Financial Analysts), CS ( certified Secretaries) to CPA (Certified Public Accountants and computer courses (application packages).
