Was started in 1952The success of the accomplishment of programmes/projects are demonstrated by the Shauri Moyo YMCA branch members, Branch Management Committee and the staff. It’s through the various laid down strategies that we manage to yield major impact in empowering young people at different levels in terms of new skills and knowledge. Not only have the programmes registered success with some partners but also increased our visibility through our members’ efforts. Since inception we have reached out to more than 50,000 young people engaging in different activities in the areas of sexual reproductive health, sports and recreation, self-discovery, environmental conservation initiatives, economic renaissance, civic action, violence prevention, education and talent development. It is through various partnerships that we have manage to bring positive change in young people hence anticipating to do much more in terms of youth and empowerment
