Nairobi south YMCA Branch is a local branch of Kenya YMCA. It was initiated in the year 1976 in the southern part of Nairobi city. It is situated in south C estate opposite Presbyterian Church headquarters along Muhoho Avenue. It operates in the greater Nairobi south region which also covers Kibera slums. The Kibera YMCA Educational Center which is a project of the Nairobi South YMCA Branch was incepted in 1983. The centre has a pre-school, Primary school, and Vocation training Centre. Nairobi south YMCA Branch just as other branches is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the mission and vision of Kenya YMCA is realized
